I'm very happy with the work at Northwest Auto Specialists. Great at diagnosing problems and then making repairs. Also very thorough about making sure they took care of everything.

Great communication about our car repair needs. Told us what is necessary and what can wait for a later date. We liked their honest and appreciated not being taken advantage of.

My truck is running fine right now. I appreciate everyone's help at Northwest Auto, especially Mike's pleasant informed understanding of my vehicle's problem.

The team at Northwest Auto always exceeds my expectations. We've been bringing our rides to them for years and they're straightforward and honest. Best choice for repairs in Cowlitz county, hands down.

NAS Longview WA is where roadside assistance took my Sprinter when the tensioner assembly broke on my way home (Portland OR) on a Friday afternoon. The following tuesday I was told that I needed a new auxiliary water pump and ball joints in addition to the new tensioner assembly. And I was also told that my van would be unsafe to drive home without the additional repairs. I asked NAS to replace the tensioner assembly and belt and to leave the rest as is. When I returned NAS to pick up my van a week later, the mechanic told me the ball joints had insignificant up and down movement (no malignant lateral motion) and my auxiliary water pump was only seeping. I was not loosing much coolant. He told me I should not have any issues at all on my trip back to Portland. And, of course, I did not. I figure the guy I talked to on the phone was unaware of the Mercedes service bulletin concerning easy misdiagnosis of ball joint movement on Sprinters. But I am still a little perturbed by the pressure he put on me by telling me via phone that my van would be unsafe to drive home without the additional pump and ball joint replacement ($$$). Be certain to ask for OEM. They’ll install aftermarket parts if you don’t talk about it first. Other than this, NAS had an acceptable tensioner assembly on and my van was ready to go in short order. The hard part was finding a way back to Longview to get my van. I’ll give the auxiliary water pump job to my beloved local mechanic.

Needed my tires replaced in a hurry so we could travel back to Seattle and these guys were able to order a new set and put them on in the same day. Great service and fair price for labor. Made it back to Seattle safely, thanks!
